Anyone who has had the pleasure of working in one of the kids' classrooms on a Sunday with Kevin knows that he is full of energy. He is ready to get down on the ground, and be playful. He meets the kids right where they are at, and joins the silly joke telling. He also welcomes them into cleaning up alongside him, and caring for the church equipment by making everything into an opportunity to laugh together. He is a picture of the old saying, "In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun." He is such a generous and kind man. We are so thankful for you, Kevin! This retreat is a time to step out of your routine. To pause. To take breath of fresh air. And rest before God. In writing this, I realized this retreat is around the midpoint of the year. I can't think of a better way to slow down, rest, and refocus on the vision and dreams God placed on you at the beginning of the year. . .
